25th February – More shopping and leaving Singapore and Asia!

It’s our last day in Singapore, last day in Asia and it feels like its the end of something special. Sad to be leaving this continent as our experiences were amazing.

The best country we have visited so far on this trip has to be INDIA. They say you either love it or hate it and in our case we absolutely loved every single moment, the north of India was incredible because of the people, food, culture, colourful sari’s, skinny men with huge turbans and the intensity of the place and sometimes the aggressiveness of the people (you need to haggle hard).

Laos and Nepal are also places we will hold very close to our hearts. Lots of culture and the generosity and quirkiness of the people made it a joy to travel there.

To kill time in Singapore before our 7:50pm flight to Sydney, we went to Orchard street to do sme window shopping. Met a really nice kiwi guy at the hostel and we chatted a while about rugby, what it’s like to live in Singapore and photography.

Our bus picked us up and dropped us to the Airport, checked in and boarded this Sydney bound Qantas flight. On our flight I had two miniature bottles of white Chardonnay with my chicken and rice meal. It went down well but after not drinking alcohol for a while, one little bottle got straight to my head. We watched movies (The Iron Lady) (Moneyball) and Tintin.

On devrait arriver à 6h30.
